summer break!

Has officially started!

Well, like a week ago. It's just that I've been busy since that and I've been lacking motivation to draw. How great, isn't it? I have urges to draw during the term but it completely depletes when it's over!

So I'm not abandoning this blog at all, really.

Although I should brighten up the layout, it's bothering me. The colors are starting to turn out really bland. But when I try to customize something, I always want to incorporate a drawing of mine in it and getting to that takes a while for me. XD

So what's been happening in my first week since summer break has started:

Yahh, lots of Maplestory. Met some friendly players and we're kind of tight. I also kind of want to max my characters levels. I'm on Bera, find me if you want: SinnedEesu or Eesu. And I just remembered that I got a wallpaper to finish by the end of the month for a contest. LOL, totally forgot. orz;;;


With my left over felt I made another Domo kun, key chain size! ^^ Stitching is terrible... But it has eyes this time!! ^^ I embroidered it on. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. XDD But the eyes are kind of terrible. I'm glad it has eyes this time. But I didn't put arms, I didn't feel the need since it was small.



So, I totally said I would be drawing. Recently I joined this community on dA and I was all super excited and stuff.

But. I only got sketches. Nothing is coming out right. >:C


I forgot to mention friends up in that list above... HAHA, what a good companion I make. But yeah, been hanging out with cousins a lot. For the first time in forever I got to see my Big Bang familyfriends. :] Spent a night them, it was great. I'm hoping we can see them again Wednesday and spend until the the weekend down there. Hopefully things go well and we can go down there...


Also, looking at blogskins and there's a ton of good ones. q_q;; Makes me want to make one myself but I don't know html so well. orz.

Haven't posted in so long. TAT;;; I've been meaning but I just didn't get around to it. Since I haven't posted in so long and I didn't have much to do (yet) I was gonna post earlier but I got caught up into Karneval, a josei manga. The genre baffled me. BUT I LOVE IT!! 8DDD Yogi's character and his design intrigues me so much. I think I'll doodle him.

While I do that, art dump time!


Mostly commissions that I liked. The Domokun I did over the spring break, sort of last minute because I was determined to have something done. XD The only thing I didn't do was the eyes... >_> I didn't have buttons and I kind of was reluctant to use anything else. It's gonna be eyeless for the time being until I find some.

Some wips:Drawing out chibi stuff because I haven't done them in a while and I don't have quite a style for it. =w=;; I also have been meaning to color the one on the upper right and finalizing the lineart...

Cell phone strap of TOP from Big Bang for my friend. ♥ I showed her the drawing of it and she said she liked it but how genuine is that is questionable... It's hard to genuinely get anyone to be happy when they tell you love you and they like whatever really easily. Oh well, I still love her though. XD

also my digital camera really sucks. orz it's not working very well. ;A; (as seen in the second picture.)



2 wips in one, yay. The one of the left is most recent. I just remembered about this Pocky art contest I saw on TokyoPop's website. To be honest I didn't think the finalists looked that great. I think someone of them actually sucked and one them was a comic/manga?(can you call it that...) and I just felt it was just kind of bad. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything though. I think I could have entered and did better. That's why I started sketching another Pocky related picture. @w@ But then I started to lost motivation. orz

The one on the right was inspired by waiters. I just felt like drawing something like that. I wanted to fit Taiiro in there but I don't know how to fit him in it. I don't know what I want to do with it next though.

gah, rambled on, I should get going to meet my univ101 class at the franklin...

yamapi themed birthday!~~

It was my friend's birthday yesterday and we surprised her with cake and stuff. I'm kind of glad she started off the day a little bad (broken bag, exam at 8 am...) she looked pretty happy when we surprised her. :D

I spent up until 2 am the night before make her cell phone strap:

It really looked like she liked it when I gave it to her, so I'm glad. It was fun to make. @w@ *wants to make moar* I used the first shirtless yamapi image on google so it doesn't belong to me. @w@;;

We had the whole operation at a sushi place called Ajia. (Engrish for Asia? >A>) It was kind of cool, I learned the owner (the chef, also was nice enough to nice our picture in our princess tiara birthday hats. he said we were cute. I orzed) is also my brother's friend's father. Had fun and good times~ @w@ But I don't want tempura again. D: It's good and all but so unhealthy and mainly because it leaves an aftertaste for a long time. >___< I should have just ordered sushi. I wanna go again.

After we left we had one more surprise for her and while I played cameraman the others shot silly string at her. xD Got some good pics of unsuspecting victim and the ambush. :Db

Off to school now, enjoy moar Yamapi. @A@ (We stapled this to her princess birthday hat. 8D She actually wore it the whole time!)

A friend of mine bought me a 3 month subscription on dA: http://lingjingzi.deviantart.com So I spent most of my evening trying to fix up my journal. @A@ css skills, they are rusty. orz Even with premade code. OTL And since I liked it so much, I'm using it here, too. >w<

Thursday: Pretty busy day. @W@ Got 6 hours the night before, too. Went shopping for more materials for some personal projects. We, my aunt and I, also made fudge but... it has failed miserably. It's very taffy life at this moment. :[ I think it's because of the marshmallows it's so gooey... but the recipe called for it. Dx

We also made cookies. Oatmeal and raisins. It wasn't my idea but I knew my parents would like it and lo behold, they do. @W@ They don't like sweet stuff. We also didn't let it burn so they're much softer than the chocolate cookies.

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of any of the cooking. >.>

As soon as I had that done, I made more charms. But because of time I only made another cog. D: This time, it's not as thin as the first. I also made a bow following this tutorial: Ribbon Tutorial- Fimo by ~anatego on deviantART. It didn't turn out as successful. I have it painted gray and sat it to dry but I haven't glazed it. I'll do that sometime later today, during the day. x-x

T_____T THEY'RE SO BAD.

I tried to do some steam punk items (doesn't work if it's only black and white!!) but they're dying right now. D: The mechanical heart (the thing that doesn't look like anything) looks wretched since I painted it. It looked better as chocolate before... =____= And the hole I made for the ring in the cog is breaking. ;-; The only thing decent is the cake and poo... D: They're note even that cute looking either.

I also wish I had more color to work with... I was trying to decide which red to get at the art store but they had so many names I ended up not getting any. ;_; My color palette currently is chocolate, black, white. I thought I could make a light brown with the white but, uh, didn't work out so well. x.x Oogh.

I'm kind of afraid to make another cog...I know I won't even try to make another heart. D:
